Q. What is paintball?

A. The basics of the game is one of a two-team game of capture the flag. The objective is to capture a flag from the opposing team and return with it to your own flag station or Head Quarters. The game involves no physical contact ever.

Instead, each player is armed with a special air gun (marker) designed to fire food-grade paint pellets (paintballs), which mark their opponent on impact. In this way players “eliminate” opposing team members.

The game gives players a chance to test their individual skills of stealth and tactics. While also stressing teamwork, planning, and good sportsmanship via competition.

An increasing number of companies, large and small, are discovering the potential of paintball, for its unique entertainment value and for its application as a tool for team development. Anyone will love this game that builds and stretches ones mental endurance, instinctive reactions, leadership, and team working abilities.

Q. Who can play the game?

A. Players as young as 10 years of age can play the game. Our private parties and kid's events allow for ages 10 on up. Ages 12+ are allowed for all open play sessions. Anyone under 18 needs a waiver (click here) signed by a parent or guardian.

Q. How safe is the game?

A. Insurance statistics show paintball as being safer than golf, bowling and tennis. Our Referees are trained to make paintball a safe experience for you and your group. No physical contact is ever allowed or permitted.

Q. Are Electronic and "Response" Triggers allowed ?

A. Yes, but rules do apply, for each trigger pull only ONE paintball may be fired from the Paintball Marker. Tippmann Response Trigger Kits are allowed. Automag RT's are allowed as well. As they fit this description. Electronic Markers and Grip Frames must be set to SEMI-AUTO Modes Only. Any violation of this rule will result in ejection from the field.

Q. What should I wear?

A. We recommend  comfortable  jeans and long sleeves, shoes or boots with good traction, gloves and something to cover your head. Hard knee pads as used in skating and hockey are recommended. The important thing is to cover your skin. Paintball goggles will cover your entire face and ear area, so you don't have to worry about that. Groin protection for men is recommended. A change of clothes is always advisable to keep your vehicle clean, and you are most welcome to use our bathrooms.
 

Q. What should I bring?

  • Comfortable Clothes to play in that covers you, a long sleeve shirt, pants. (No Shorts Please)
  • Something to cover your head, Gloves, and Shoes or boots with good traction are suggested
  • If bringing your own marker, bring it in a Case, Bag, or Box with a barrel plug
  • A change of clothes for the car ride home

Q. Does the paint wash out?

A. Yes, the paintball is a round gelatinous capsule filled with a non hydrogenated oil, colored by a nontoxic non-caustic, water soluble and biodegradable colored dye (food coloring). A change of clothes is always advisable to keep your vehicle clean, and you are most welcome to use bath rooms.

Q. Is food available?

A. Yes, the Reception station has water soda and energy drinks. as well as pizza and slushies

Q. Can we bring Alcohol to the facility or consume it before Playing?

A. !! ! NEVER ! !!

The Park is a Alcohol and Drug Free facility. Paintball and Alcohol don't mix. So don't bring any Alcohol to the Park. Consumption in our parking lot or your car is never allowed! Violators will be asked not to come back. If you come to the park under the influence you will be asked to leave. No questions asked. No fees or deposits of any kind will be refunded in this case.

Q. How do I reserve a field or Big Game?

A. E-mail us to make reservations when you decide on a time and day.

Q. Do you need a group of people to play Paintball?

A. No. You can come alone for any of our open sessions games, but the more friends you bring the better the game play

Q. How old do I have to be to play Paintball?

A. Players as young as 10 years of age can play the game. Our private parties and kid's events allow for ages 10 on up. Ages 12+ are allowed for all open play sessions. Anyone under 17 needs a waiver (click here) signed by a parent or guardian.

Q. Do you fill tanks?

A. Yes. CO2 tanks are regularly $2.00 for any size tank up to 20 oz .

Q. Can we fill our own HPA tanks on site?

A. NO. Any filling of yours  HPA tanks on site or in the parking lot will result in you being asked to leave  This is not by our choice. This has to due with certification and insurance regulations. No fees or deposits of any kind will be refunded in this case.

Q. Will we have our own private field when we come to play?

A. If you have scheduled a private party your group will have the field all to yourselves. If you are in an open game you play with whoever else walks on.

Q. Can I bring my own gear?

A. Yes. You can bring your own gear,  You will need a barrel plug for your equipment. Please bring it into the facility in a bag, case or box.

Q. Can I bring my own paintballs to play?

A. NO, We only allow our Blaze Field Paint on the fields. This paint is solely manufactured for the Park and can only be purchased here at the Park. If you do shoot paint other than our field paint you will be asked to leave. No fees or deposits of any kind will be refunded in this case. There are no Bring Your Own Paint Events at this time.

Q. What is a Chrono or Chronograph?

A. Found in our Chrono Range, are Chronographs or Radar Guns. These simply are RADAR Guns, which measure the velocity, or speed, in Feet Per Second (FPS). This range is open to the public during normal retail hours. ASTM Certified goggles are required to enter the range.
